BA (Hons) Architecture
University of Greenwich
Course Overview
Greenwich's BA (Hons) Architecture is a three-year RIBA Part 1 and ARB-prescribed undergraduate degree taught from the iconic Stockwell Street building in central Greenwich — a Stirling Prize-nominated 2014 design by Heneghan Peng with one of the largest architectural-model-making workshops in any UK university. The curriculum runs design studios alongside structures, environmental design, history & theory, and digital fabrication (Rhino, Grasshopper, BIM).
Sri Lankan applicants pick Greenwich for the combined draw of RIBA accreditation, fees around £8k–10k less than UCL or the Bartlett, and a proven path to a Part 2 (M.Arch) at one of the larger London schools afterwards. Most students go on to log RIBA Stage 1 practice hours at a London studio under the Graduate Route before progressing to Part 2.
