The Faculty of Psychology (Fakultät für Psychologie) is now Austria's largest psychology faculty, with research strengths in cognitive neuroscience, developmental and clinical psychology, applied social psychology, and biological / health psychology. The Bachelor in Psychology (Psychologie) leads into the Master in Psychology — together they meet the academic prerequisites for postgraduate professional training as a Klinische Psychologin in Austria and align with international clinical psychology pathways.

Sri Lankan A-Level / IB applicants — typically Biology / Arts stream school-leavers and counselling-curious first-generation graduates — choose Universität Wien Psychology for: €1,480/year non-EU tuition, the prestige of a 660-year-old public university, an English-medium Master's pathway after the German-medium Bachelor's, and Vienna's strong applied-psychology employer base (clinical, organisational, educational). The 6-semester (180 ECTS) curriculum spans general psychology, developmental and social psychology, biological psychology, methodology and statistics, clinical and health psychology, and supervised research practica.
