BA Psychology
Yonsei University
Course Overview
Yonsei's BA Psychology is offered through both the College of Liberal Arts (Korean-medium) and the Underwood International College (UIC, fully English-medium) on the Sinchon campus, central Seoul. Yonsei is one of the elite SKY universities (Seoul National, Korea University, Yonsei) and consistently ranks top-5 in Korea for psychology. The English-taught UIC pathway accepts ~150 international students/year across all majors, and the Psychology track covers cognitive, developmental, clinical, and social psychology with a research methods + statistics spine.
Sri Lankan demand for Yonsei UIC is rising fast — the combination of a globally-recognised SKY brand, English-medium instruction, dramatic cost advantage over US/UK psychology degrees (KRW 13M/yr vs $67k at NYU), and the Korean Wave drawing more SL students into Korean culture has tripled application volumes in the last 5 years. The KGSP and Yonsei's own Global Leader Fellowship can cover full tuition.
