Course Overview

The University of Malta's Digital Arts / Digital Media degree is a three-year English-taught Bachelor's at the EU's English-speaking island nation. It combines creative practice with digital production — covering digital media design, motion graphics, animation, sound, interactive and game media, and the theory of contemporary visual and screen culture. The programme balances hands-on studio and software skills with critical and conceptual grounding, preparing graduates for Malta's growing creative, gaming, and media industries.

Sri Lankan A-Level / IB applicants with a creative bent — future designers, content creators, animators, and media producers — choose Malta for: full English-medium delivery, lower tuition than mainland Europe (~€11,000/year), EU credentials, and a safe, affordable Mediterranean base. Malta hosts a notable iGaming and digital sector.
