Monash Offer Holder
You must have applied for (or hold) a course offer from Monash University. The scholarship is assessed automatically — there is no separate application form for the award itself.
Outstanding Academic Record
Highly competitive — typically first-class honours equivalent for undergraduate entry, or strong Bachelor's with distinction for Master's entry. Top of the cohort at Sri Lankan universities or A/L 3As+ for direct undergraduate entry.
Leadership Track Record
Demonstrated leadership through student council, volunteering, community work, sports captaincy, internships, or workplace responsibility — backed up by what you put in your Monash application and personal statement.
Maintain WAM 70+
To retain the scholarship you must maintain a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of at least 70 each semester. Drops below this threshold can result in scholarship suspension.
account_tree Application Process
Apply to Monash early
Submit your Monash undergraduate or postgraduate application by the published main-round date — earlier rounds are competitive. Strong leadership content in your personal statement and references is key.
Automatic scholarship assessment
No separate scholarship form. All eligible international offer-holders are automatically considered. Successful candidates are notified by email shortly after their Monash offer.
Accept your Monash offer
Confirm acceptance of the Monash course offer by the deadline in your scholarship letter to lock in the award. Late acceptance can forfeit the scholarship.
Join Campus Ambassador Programme
From your second semester onwards you are required to participate in the Monash Campus Ambassador Programme — student representation, recruitment events, and outreach — for the duration of the scholarship.
