Course Overview
The Master of Information Technology at Murdoch University Dubai is an 18-month coursework Master's with specialisations in cybersecurity, data science, and IT management. Sri Lankan applicants from non-IT backgrounds (finance, engineering, science) are welcome — the first trimester covers programming fundamentals and database design before the specialisation units kick in.
The degree is Australian-accredited and recognised by ACS (Australian Computer Society) for skilled migration assessment. The campus runs an active partnership with regional tech employers (Emirates Group IT, Etisalat, du, Dubai Smart Government), and the final-semester capstone is a paid industry project with one of these partners for most students.

Academic
