Master of Science (Health Sciences)
Curtin University Dubai
Course Overview
The MSc Health Sciences at Curtin Dubai is a two-year research-oriented program drawn from Curtin's strong Perth-based Faculty of Health Sciences (ranked QS Top 100 for Pharmacy and Nursing). The Dubai cohort streams into specialisations spanning public health, health promotion and clinical research methodology — useful for Sri Lankan doctors, pharmacists, nurses and nutritionists pursuing supervisory or research roles inside the UAE health ecosystem.
Curtin awards the same MSc parchment as Perth, and graduates are eligible to register with relevant UAE regulators (DHA, MOHAP, DOH-Abu Dhabi) subject to clinical practice requirements. The two-year duration also unlocks the UAE 2-year post-study work visa — long enough to land a permanent contract before applying for the Golden Visa pathway in healthcare and life sciences.
