Course Overview
Bocconi's LLM in International Business and Economic Law is a one-year English-taught program in Milan for law graduates who want to specialise in cross-border commercial law, international arbitration and EU economic regulation. Sri Lankan LLB graduates from Colombo Law Faculty, APIIT, KDU or NSBM use it as a route into European arbitration chambers and the in-house counsel teams of multinational firms.
The program covers EU competition law, international trade and investment, contract law, M&A, banking regulation and dispute resolution. Students join moot competitions, a structured internship with Milan-based law firms or arbitration centres, and write a thesis under faculty supervision.
