BBA (Hons) Business Administration
Heriot-Watt University Dubai
Course Overview
The BBA (Hons) at Heriot-Watt Dubai is a four-year undergraduate business degree run by Edinburgh Business School — the same EBS that runs the global Heriot-Watt MBA. For Sri Lankan A/L school-leavers, it's a direct route into a UK-accredited business degree without the UK visa overhead, with full eligibility for the UAE's 2-year post-study Green Visa.
Year 1 covers Economics, Accounting, and Organisational Behaviour fundamentals. From Year 2 onwards students specialise in Finance, Marketing, Business Analytics, or Entrepreneurship. The programme includes an integrated industry placement in Year 3 — Heriot-Watt Dubai's career services have placement agreements with employers across Dubai's free zones (DIFC, JLT, DMCC).
